Are you ready to experience the vibrant and lively atmosphere of Havana, Cuba? If so, then you don’t want to miss our upcoming annual Havana Night Social Dance Party!
Join us on August 23rd for an unforgettable evening of music, dancing, performances, and fun as we transport you to the streets of Havana. Our party will feature a variety of Latin (and not only!!) dance styles, including Salsa, Bachata, and Merengue, all set to the beat of your favorite tunes.
What to Expect?
Expect to enjoy the night of social dancing, dance performances, great music, and complimentary refreshments. And make sure you take the Salsa dance class at the beginning of the party to get into the groove!
Whether you’re a seasoned dancer or just looking to try something new, our Havana Night party is the perfect opportunity to let loose and have a great time. Our friendly and experienced instructors will be on hand to guide you through the steps and ensure that everyone feels comfortable and confident on the dance floor, so no dance experience or partner is required.
In addition to the dancing, enjoy complimentary snacks and drinks to keep you fueled throughout the night. From classic Cuban mocktails to tasty snacks and desserts, we’ve got everything you need to keep the party going.

Tickets
Tickets can be purchased at the studio or online. So hurry up to get early bird tickets for $30; or it will be $35 at the door.
Who Can Join the Havana Night Party?
This event is open to everyone – whether you are a student at Access Ballroom or not, a complete beginner or have taken dance lessons before; know 1 dance or 14 different dance styles or more; solo or couple… You’ll be able to have fun at this party!
What To Expect?
Salsa Dance Class
Doors open at 7:30pm. We encourage you to come in early, get some complimentary snacks and refreshments, have your photo taken by a professional photographer, socialize and meet new people!
Then, at 7:50pm we will be starting a Salsa group class. All levels are welcome to join in, as we will be running different level classes at the same time. Also, you do not have to have a partner to be able to join because we will be switching partners constantly during the class.
Why the Salsa? Well, definitely it is one of the dances you think about when you hear “Havana” or “Cuba”! Learn more about the history of Salsa, music, and more in this blog post.
Performances
After the class, you will have a chance to enjoy students’ and teachers’ performances! We are so excited about these, as some students will be performing for the very first time while others will be “seasoned” dancers. Social Dancing
After the performances, the night will continue with social dancing! If you don’t know the dance, there will always be a teacher to show you the basics so you can learn and have fun dancing too.
We’ll also play everyone’s now favourite Dance Cards game to get everyone to mingle and meet each other!
